Privacy Policy
SPADE Mental Health exists to make space for honest conversations — and that includes being straightforward about your privacy. In short: this website does not ask for your personal information, does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and does not sell anything about you.
This policy explains what happens to information when you visit spadementalhealth.com (the “site”), which is operated by SPADE Mental Health LLC, a Kulture Fuzhn company (“SPADE,” “we,” “us”).
1. Information we collect
Information you choose to send us
The site has no sign-up forms, accounts, or checkout. If you email us at info@spadementalhealth.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and keep a record of our conversation.
Please don’t send sensitive health details by email unless you’re comfortable doing so. SPADE offers community and education, not medical or clinical care, and email is not a secure channel for confidential medical information.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, the companies that deliver this site (listed in section 3) automatically receive basic technical information when your browser requests a page or file — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is a normal part of how the internet works and is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and fix problems. We do not use it to identify you or build a profile about you.
2. Cookies and storage on your device
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking tools.
The site saves two small preferences in your browser’s own storage so it can remember your choices. They never leave your device and are not sent to us:
- Sound preference — whether you turned the calm background music on, so it can resume next time.
- Intro shown — whether you’ve already seen the opening animation during this visit, so it isn’t repeated (cleared when you close the tab).
You can clear these at any time through your browser’s settings (usually under “Clear browsing data” or “Site data”).
3. Services that help run the site
To work, the site loads content from a few trusted providers. Each receives the basic technical information described above when your browser contacts them, and each handles it under its own privacy policy:
- Netlify — hosts the website. Privacy policy
- Google Fonts — provides the site’s lettering. Privacy policy · Google Fonts privacy FAQ
- jsDelivr — delivers the code that powers the site’s animations. Privacy policy
- RSS.com — hosts SPADE: The Podcast. Episode details, cover art, and audio load from RSS.com, and audio is only fetched when you press play. Privacy policy
- Google Workspace — handles email sent to info@spadementalhealth.com. Privacy policy
4. Links to other websites
The site links to places like Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music, Pandora, TuneIn, Podcast Index, RSS.com, and Kulture Fuzhn. When you follow a link, you leave our site, and that service’s own privacy policy applies. We aren’t responsible for how other sites handle your information.
5. How we use and share information
We use the limited information described here only to run the site and respond to messages. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a person who may be at risk.
6. How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable record of our conversation, then delete them. Our providers keep their technical logs according to their own policies.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you (generally only emails you’ve sent), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to info@spadementalhealth.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we’ll honor valid requests. You can also clear the preferences stored in your browser at any time.
8. Children
This site is intended for a general and adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Because it doesn’t collect personal information through forms or accounts, there is very little to protect. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please use care with what you share by email.
10. Changes to this policy
If we add new features — such as a newsletter, online shop, or courses — we’ll update this policy before they launch and change the date at the top of this page.
